Option 1- Fabric Arts
- If you were able to bring your fabric arts and materials home priority is to finish it. If you cannot access materials to finish no problem!-chose option 2-4.
- Joanns, Hobby Lobby and Michaels all sell embroidery thread if you did not take enough- if your family is still going out and running errands.
- Here are video links to different embroidery stitches you might find helpful www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff9-1ZPAdS www.youtube.com/watch?v=yU3fQFmhyh0 www.youtube.com/watch?v=go89e8xpVYs
Option 2 Directed Drawing
- Select an interesting 3d object and draw it from 4 different angles or 4 related objects to draw to create a SERIES.
- Divide drawing paper into equal sections with ruler/straight edge or use 2 pieces of sketchbook paper and divide into 2 sections each.
- Object should be interesting and 3d-NOT YOUR PHONE! Toys and figurines, food, tools, utensils are all good choices.
- Draw each section from a different angle or zoom in to focus on details.
- Add value and shading with pencil-some light white space, midtone and dark shading
Option 3 Modified Choice- (must have internet access)
- Find 3 drawing videos online that show step by step instructions
- Follow along in your sketchbook or on drawing paper
- You MUST include link to videos you used when you turn in work
Option 4- Full Choice
- For the artist who has materials at home, is an independent learner and already has project ideas
- Use this time to create artwork that is meaningful to you. Create a complete “showcase worthy” project, or build art skills you are interested in learning.
- If you chose this option you must log your time worked in your sketchbook and communicate with me in email at least 2 times.
